North East Regional Awards are taking place on Friday 15th May 2020

​On Sunday 12 July 2020, volunteers and members of the Netball Family, from across the country, will come together in Birmingham, to celebrate their achievements and receive recognition for the outstanding contributions they make enriching lives through netball.

The Vitality Goalden Globe Netball Volunteer Awards is a national event, which follows on from celebrations that each of the nine Regions hold between April and May. At these celebrations Regional winners from nominees in the eight categories outlined below will be announced (click on each award to download the nomination form):

• Grassroots Coach Award Nomination Form
• Sheelagh Redpath Grassroots Official Award Nomination Form
• Young Volunteer Award Nomination Form
• Outstanding Netball Club Award Nomination Form
• Teacher Award Nomination Form
• Unsung Hero Award Nomination Form
• Mary Bulloch Volunteer Award Nomination Form
• Muriel McNally Grassroots Volunteer Award Nomination Form

​We will share more information about when and where each of the nine Regions will be holding their events in the New Year.

Winners from each Region are then shortlisted to attend the National event alongside those shortlisted within the following three national categories (click on each award to download the nomination form):

• Inclusion and Diversity Award Nomination Form (direct national nomination)
• Rose Award Nomination Form (direct national nomination)
• Long Service Award (direct national nomination)

Closing date for all nominations is midnight on 1 March 2020.

All nomination forms (except Inclusion and Diversity, Rose Award and Long Service) must be sent directly to your relevant Regional Office.
